Ukraine defence minister resigns

Heletey is the Ukrainain defence minister, he was appointed defence minister in July after the Pro-Russian  uprising, he then led a military offensive against the Pro-Russian rebels, but his hope to conquer the insurgent failed completely. 

The government forces in the east has since then been under fire by the Pro-Russian rebels which led to the death of thousands of Ukrainian government troops. Failure to counter the insurgent led kiev calling for a ceasefire. The 47 years old Minister after a series of defeat resigns on Sunday.
