Commissioner- Synagogue Church Building has no Government Approval

Oluwatoyin Ayinde, The Lagos State Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Develpoment stated while giving a testimony before the probing panel on the collapsed six-storey building of the Synagogue Church of All Nations. The commissionar said the church building has no government approval.

The Commissioner said the only record found was an approval for the church’s main auditorium and that the church only had approval for five floors, but the auditorium had now been raised to eight floors.

The collapsed building claimed about 116 lives, which most of the deceased are South Africans.
