Plane carrying Agagu's remains and 20 passengers crashed in Lagos

Another tragedy of plane crash few hours ago as a 1 Lear 45 XR plane crash belonging to Associated Airline crashed shortly after taking off from Murtala Mohammed Airport, Ikeja, Lagos. It is believed to be a chartered flight to Akure. Information gathered revealed that the plane was carrying the remains of late Dr. Olusegun Agagu, the former governor of Ondo state. Also believed to be in the plane are Agagu’s widow, his first son, Deji Falae, a serving commissioner in Ondo state, and popular funeral director of MIC, Tunji Okusanya.

Ondo top government officials and other family members of the late politician are said to be in the plane. 

Rumours were gathered that the widow of the former governor were among other passengers on board. A confirmation from airport authority has however confirmed that the widow was not among the passengers.



 About twenty passengers are said to be in the crashed aircraft while rescue operations are ongoing.
